April 2012
Well well well…
Once again I have to start with an apology for keeping this blog dusty- Since the last time I wrote here we toured, recorded a live album (which you can see below) and mostly have just wrote new songs. The skeleton for our second record is forming slowly but surely. We have booked our studio for late summer and we’ll see how that goes. I’m going to try and keep this regular, I swear. Keep an eye out for our new web shop which will be online at the end of the week (we’ll have very limited amounts of the live album). Be Good.

November 2011
Hello,
Well it has been a wee while hasn’t it? Lots of wonderful things have happened since I mumbled here last- most recently we played The Cork Opera house with Amiina and it was one of the best nights of our career (if you can call it that). We have a short run of dates coming up (see tour page) ending with a date in a church. After that we launch into album number two- scary starting afresh but the ideas have started coming once more. More soon….

Body & Soul Festival
So we’ll be playing at the Body & Soul festival in Co. Westmeath next weekend. We’re playing at the Casa Habana stage at 1am on the night of saturday 18th of June. We hope our music will be a good way to end the night, so if you’re going to the festival, do come and see us. We’re really looking forward to it!
For now, here’s a video from Lisa Hannigan, another artist playing at the festival. Enjoy!

May 2011
Hello folks…
Trying to get back on the horse and write here monthly. We’re just back from two days in glorious Brighton for The Great Escape Festival. Oh what fun we had- two shows went better than we could have hoped for (thanks to all who came on down). Earrrrly morning flights are rough so there was a lot of delirious nonsense. Our good friend Guy ‘Iambic’ Andrews showed us the best watering holes and we sure did enjoy that. We’re opening for Mercury Rev tomorrow night in Vicar street (pending heightened security due to her royal highness). We’ve also begun writing for album number 2, finally! Our album gets its full uk/european release on July 4th so do go out and buy it!

Well well well
Hello folks…sorry for the lack of updates but with the records finally coming out we were busy. So what happened since the last entry? We played a lot of shows around Ireland, enjoyed the pleasures of our Choice Prize nomination, played in Toronto a couple times and then went on to Texas for SXSW once more. We’ve said goodbye to our beloved Paul who has moved abroad for his studies (good luck mlad) and we have a new violinst called Margie which is exciting. We’re currently sorting shows for the summer and winter (more news on these as they come) but our next outing will be The Great Escape festival in Brighton (May 14th) and opening for Mercury Rev in Vicar street (May 18th). Back to it now, oh aye. More soon.
